EGL Genetics (EGL) has three career opportunities available for genetic counselors. EGL Genetic Counselors will support the molecular genetics, biochemical genetics, and cytogenetics laboratories, as well as the EGL Marketing Department.

Located in Atlanta, GA, EGL is a leading academic, diagnostic genetic laboratory with extensive expertise in genetic testing for rare diseases, metabolic diseases, autism, X-linked intellectual disabilities, neuromuscular disorders, and congenital disorders of glycosylation. We have experienced tremendous growth in recent years, currently testing >20,000 patient samples per year, by dramatically expanding the volume and scope of clinical test offerings through the adaptation of new technologies and development of novel tests. Our genetic counselors fill the vital role of liaison between our integrated laboratories and our clients.
